If it wasn't for electronic cash registers some of them couldn't make change for a dollar.
Math is definitely required for anyone that quilts! We have to use and if you cook you had better have just basic skills at least.

I was training a high school graduate to weigh coffee at work one day and she asked how many ounces were in a pound. I told her but she could not figure out how many were in a half pound and I had to tell her that too.....scary!! :?:
