I sure do love this boy!
We picked up two of my grandsons last week. So far everything is wonderful, as it always is when they visit.
I bought a t-shirt on sale last fall for my younger grandson, who is 11. He has Aspergers, is very bright but emotionally still around the 6 year old stage. He loves anything to do with computers, especially his Nintendo DS.
I finally was able to give him the shirt, and except to sleep he hasn't taken it off in two days. Tonight I told him that he had to change the shirt.
His response? "So you can wash it and I can wear it tomorrow?"
Yes, it's in the washer now.
Here he is in his new favorite shirt.

Time to run out and get a couple more of the same shirt. At some point it is going to need replacing due to wear or growth and it isn't always easy to find things that they love. Good job, Grandma!
