I will give up my Diet Coke, Diet Mountain Dew and whatever else I choose when they pry my cold dead hands from the bottle! Even if that is what kills me in the end. You know folks we are all dying from the day we are born. If you look at things today, people of my generation should be dead from the lead paint, no car seats, etc. etc. etc.! In 20 years, someone will determine that natural grains cause something harmful!

The Coke would have mold on top in just a few days. Liquid evaporates over a period of time. I don't have any faith in this video

Glad I am a tea drinker!
I wonder if it will take rust off of other things?
Yep. It will. Cast iron collectors often use it to remove rust from CI....

But while we're on the subject of what coke will do...did you know tea is full of tannic acid? My ex used to brew tea to tan deer hides in....worked like a charm...

Well, what do you expect it to do after sitting there for a year? I drink clear soda (occasionally) anyhow. I think that is considered propaganda???.

I only drink water and diet 7-up. After seeing what coke/pepsi does to battery cables in a car I quit.

I was raised on Pepsi...remember the "Ads we won't see again?" I think my mother bought into the pop ad. I can tolerate Diet Coke (hate Diet Pepsi) and Diet Dr. Pepper, but they always make me so very thirsty. As far as addictive, I firmly believe yes. I grab my pop first thing in the morning and have it nearby until right before bed. It is by far my #1 comfort "food". Pepsi's my daily, but I turn to Coke for queasy tummy. In fact, McDonald's Coke is best for that.
As for the vinegar-Darn! I LOVE vinegar too! Every now and then I'll drink a bit. Dill pickle juice too. That's probably not so good for me either!
