I'm babysitting the grand-dog, who is a half-sister to our two girls, for five days while the son is traveling to Seattle with Cindy.

Daisy has decided her place to lay around is on the top of the couch back. Neither of our two have ever lain there.

I'm not sure if she thinks she's a cat and wants to be high up, or if she lays there because she has a really good view of the front door, and she's pining for her "dad" to come home. Probably the latter... ;-)

Our grandpuppy lays on the top back of our sofa, too. Funny thing is is the preceding dog used to lay there, too. My Buddy a golden retirever would never fit. Maybe that is why the shih tzu lays there - he knows Buddy can't get to him.

Cute. Both of my dogs do that. The boy dog also lays out on the top of a high back chair. Suicidal behavior for a crippled 5 lb dog.

She's so cute!!! Looks mighty comfy to me! How quickly they do that- my grand-dog loves to jump up on the sofa and snuggle with me. He's a lover boy :D
When he leaves I have to announce to my cats "Frankie went home". They aren't wild about him and there's no reason. He's so sweet and loves them!

I had a Cocker Spaniel Cross that was definitely my dog. About the time I should be coming home from work, she would get up on the top of the recliner back and would give really dirty looks to my late husband until I came home. I guess she blamed him for my leaving to go to work.

Cheeky little girl. We have one of those also. Only she is a 55 lb. Australian Shepherd. How she balances up there is a mystery. Our DGD has a little dog that rubs your legs like a cat. She has 3 cat sisters.
Aren't our furkins fun and amusing?
