:) nice answer! The hubby and I are going round and round about getting a house keeper. He is retired and won't help me around the house (aside from the dishes). I told him, if you can't do more than that, then get somone in here, I work all day and don't want to have to clean all night (ok, thats dramatic, it's only two of us but still....)

Sooooo, since there is no cleaning lady - I straighten up regularly and clean every other week.

I would choose quilting! My problem is I get on the board and before I know it the day is half gone! I did pick up a little yesterday and did some laundry. A house is not a home if you can not write home sweet home in the dust!!

There is just two of us and a little doggie too!

Do you dishes first and pickup while you are going into your sewing room and enjoy your life because it is too short to worry about cleaning.

We live in a little cape cod home and one thing is put in the wrong place and the house looks like a tornado went through it.

I just noticed I'm a regular here now.

Which would you choose: Clean the house or sew the quilt?
If your livingroom doesn't look like this then go sew.

Mine used to look like that when my boys were home.

Now I have to keep everything off the floor and in the same place because my husband is legally blind. I don't dare to change anything around because he no's where everything is now.

The blind center asked when we first went if I like to change things around alot?

    They recommended not too.

It just needs to be vacuumed.(sp?) No one is allowed to eat in there so it stays pretty clean except fot the toys.
