If your livingroom doesn't look like this then go sew.
LOL! Well, we don't have toys around anymore, except for the dog toys, but it was like that! But, its a lot different when the "kids" are 15 to 20 years old! My oldest son and his (live in) girlfriend stayed here last night, and my youngest son had a friend here and they made a mess! I swear they forgot how to use a garbage can sometimes.

When Sebastian (my oldest son) stays over, its like a party, where he lives on his own now. They sat up and played Playstation all night and ate junk food. It looked like they were playing cards, too, as they were EVERYWHERE.

So, I decided to compromise. I compromised by getting them up and putting them to work! With them helping, it went fast.

So, now the house is (fairly) clean and I can sew all day, LOL! Yay!

Every day I do a quick pickup. Once a week I do the carpets. I try to work HARD on one room every day of the week. I have a 1480 SF home and it's just the two of us (but boy do we mess it up!). It takes me less than an hour every day - sometimes only 1/2 hr. and the REST of the day is MINE!!!! :)

That is an impossible decision to make LOL. I broke down yesterday and cleaned the whole house (phew) so now I can sew without guilt. :D

I have a great excuse, my house is in the middle of a remodel. I have one room, my sewing room that isn't being touched. So it's the room I stay in most of the day while the work is being done.

Get rid of your air conditioning. Then it's too hot to clean the house.
