    I can relate to this vicky. To this day I still have this big need for my mom's approval. Hugs were not something I remember with her. she is still not comfortable touching me. I know how that affects your life. I am glad you have that one special moment with her.

    My husband and I met via the internet on a messageboard (much like this one! but not a quilting board) became friends and then developed feelings for one another. He got brave and decided to visit me, and the moment I looked into him smiling face and saw that as impossible as it seems, I loved him and that he clearly loved me. My heart just exploded.

    Hes been my best and dearest friend for 6 years.

    Couldnt help but laugh at this... My son also grew into his long arms and legs, he is now 6' 6"
