Prayers and thoughts for you, Randy and the family. I know people do hang on until certain events and Randy may well be hanging on to see your son.
This isn't an easy time for any of you.
Stay strong and know that God is with you.
We are here for you too, and wish we could be closer.

I am so sorry that you and your family are going through this difficult time. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers that you will be given strength from above and the peace that passeth all understanding.
Hugs to you...

Gwyn,
I will continue to pray that Randy is free from pain and that you remain blessed with the courage that you so clearly display. Your grace at this time is an inspiration. God be with you...

Well, it is over. Randy died tonight at about 10:30. He was in no pain, no anxiety, just peaceful. Thank you for all your wonderful posts and encouraging words. Your prayers have sustained me and my children through a very difficult week. Now we move on to the next stage. The children are divided on the issue of cremation. I think it will all work out in the next couple of days. Yesterday, only my oldest daughter supported this, today it is about 1/2 the kids, by tomorrow who knows. patience is going to be the key to this, and diplomacy.

May his memory hold you strong. These are trying days Gwyn, do not try to be a super hero. You have so many wonderful children, grown who can help you when your shoulders grow weary. I am so sorry for your loss. I know you can come here when it gets overwhelming and you will find as much support as you need anytime day or night. Hugs, prayers and lots of love from California. You have been a friend to so many here, we are here for you too.
