Hello everybody! Things just keep happening and I haven't gotten back to quilting yet. I am no longer making the quilt for Pauline. When I got to washing the fabrics and getting ready, I found that she had only bought 1/2 yard of the materials that she wanted for all the Secondary blocks. That isn't near enough. She has taken the material back home to "regroup".
I also have a wonderful friend in Oregon (nicknamed Goose), who has decide to take up quilting since her "2 best friends" do it. One lives in Oregon and then me. So I supplied her a list of things she would need to start quilting, Sent her a Jacob's Ladder pattern, material to make her first quilt/throw, and made her a block to show her what it will look like. It is going to be beautiful, and bright! I will post a picture so you all can see it.
As for me, I am going to my daughters in Nebraska on July 16th for 2 or 3 weeks. When I get home, I plan on quilting again. (If not before I leave, but I have a lot to do to get ready.)
I sure miss you all, and can't wait to get back on here. I spent the day at my Moms today, and she really wants me to start quilting again too. I'll talk to you all soon.
    Bye for now.
    Marilyn

Glad to see you back missed you. I'm sure it must be a relief not to make Paulina's quilt, what a nightmare.
