I thought all my photos of them were on my cell phone, but I searched around and she had sent me some long ago--so here are some, but they're very small. I get to take their engagement photo!! :D
Oh! They came up bigger than I thought--yay! :-D

That is exciting news! What is even better is that your son does see inner beauty and he taught you as well..I think that is a beautiful story and it makes me think that I will never stop learning from my children even when they are older. Speaking from someone who came from dysfunction...I probably knwo why she has a weight issue and why she appreciated everything. I am glad that you recognize that as well..what a great MIL you will be!

charismah,
Jenny says it's from no one ever teaching her about healthy eating--she spent much of her childhood in TX and said the idea there was how to make everything taste better. And she loves to cook! She lost weight on WW--but didn't stick with it. I had her pick something out for her birthday--whatever she wanted--and she chose inspriational books on weight loss--and WW cookbooks. She says she knows exactly what to do-she just has to do it. She has a tread mill and bike in her trailer--and said the spare bedroom wil be an exercise room.
The one problem is Justin has gained some weight since college. He's off campus, and comes home every Thursday-Sunday so only gets four meals a week in the dining hall--and it's all he can eat--so he takes advantage of it. He has the terrible habit of eating nothing all day then piling it in when he goes there. I told him if he were a horse, he'd colic!! He assures me he'll lose the weight after his last semester. He loses weight easily-as most men do--but he has had high blood pressure for a while--is on meds--so I worry.
So--my wish for them--and I've told him this--is for them to get healthy together so they have years upon years of happiness.
I almost thought to give them the floral log cabin--but it's too girly. :-D I'll have to wait to see what colors they'd want.
Terri--I was thinking the same thing!!
