I'm Going to Wash that Gray right Out of My Hair! -Maybe...

This type of story (and my own history of destruction) is why my DH begs me to have mine done at a salon. He says that it is much cheaper to have somebody else do it (even if I need id done every 6 weeks these days) than to have to pay to repair the damage a slip with the dye can cause. This is also the man that says if I don't want to dye it at all that would be OK since we are no longer in our twenties. This is easy to say for him as he only has gray in his beard which he just removed after 17 years. (something to do with turning 60 I think)

LOL, I love your story! I did the same thing (one time) and found out I was allergic to the red dye. I had the carrot top hair and a visit to the doc-in-a-box for steroids to get my eyes open again. I have stuck to middle of the road blonde since and have a professional do it! you made my day.

Darn! I was just getting up the nerve to go completely grey, with the use of a color that would approximate what I think that color might be. Now I'm afraid I might come up with green. Well Halloween is just around the corner.
