I am so not a morning person! All my life I was forced into early am schedules but now being retired & my ds grown I can finally be the night owl I was born to be. DH won't even try to wake me without "bribing" me with a pot of coffee, and even then he stays his distance until it kicks in! I have even found the solution to the fasting appt at the doctors, I make it for one of their last appointments of the day. It drives them crazy but they require 5 hours fasting, so if it's at 4:30 pm I can still get up at a decent hour (like around 10) have my coffee & breakfast, skip lunch (which is pretty standard for me anyway) and voila! 5 hours fasting! Sure beats dragging your butt out of bed and some ungodly hour of the early morning & driving to the docs without even the fortitude of coffee!

I am a morning person; not always by choice. I get up early all the time even when I'd love to stay in bed. I stayed up until 5am Sat morning finishing my trip around the world quilt (only 1 more border and she'd done) and then by 6 I was back up making coffee. My grandaughter woke me up at 530 and I tried to go back to sleep when she did 15 min later; capped napped until 6 and then when I opened my eyes I knew I might as well get up because I wouldn't sleep after that and those 10min catnaps don't do anything but make me tired.

So not a morning person, but I am always up by 6 at the latest- :evil: I never get to sleep until "I" just wake up...when the dog wakes, he will wake the entire house if you don't get up. I love him anyway, but sure is a pain in my rear!

I am a morning person. Up at the crack of dawn and can hit the floor singing. (I don't because that much cheer early in the morning annoys my DH.)

I am a MORNING person! But most of my friend are not. 8( I get up and moving by six a.m. I get most of my stuff done in the morning before my kids get up. My sister says there should be a law against being so cheery in the morning. LOL One of my kids is SO not a morning person, and likes to stay up late. It has ALWAYS been a problem for me. I can't stay up much past 9 or 10. But I LOVE being a morning person. :D
