Works well at Christmas. When the kids would stay up to catch Santa, I'd go to sleep, get up at my normal 'early' time and put the gifts under the tree while they slept in the chairs. They were older before they caught on.
I'm a morning person. Tend to wake up at first light - only time I sleep late is winter cause the sun sleeps late. A drawback for me is having to wait half the day for the stores to open.

I LOVE early mornings. We live in the country with no houses near by. Love to sit on screened in porch with glass of iced tea and the dog. listening to birds, watching deer, sometimes a fox or wild turkey. It is so peaceful and quiet. Always get all of my errands done by 11 am. Get up 4 or 5 am. Bed around 11.

I could only be a "Morning Person" if the morning somehow started after NOON!!!! lol...I'm more of a night owl...I stay up until 3 or 4 am so maybe technically that's a morning person after all!!!   Naomi

Depends on the time of year -I don't get up til I see day light Summer time I get up early to go fishing Winter is a different story I prefer to hibernate under a quilt And if I have an early appt I just stay up all night so I don't miss it Since retiring I don't hear the alarm any more

I am definately a morning person. Always have been. I love getting up before everyone else and having my alone time. It does present problems though when other members of the household are night people and you want to get going somewhere early.

And my eyes have time to clear the fog, I cant see well for about 30 minutes after I get up, its like looking through dirty glasses. I've had to explain to many people that I have low blood sugar, low heart rate, low blood pressure and for me waking up is like starting a old Plymouth on a cold winter day, I'll start but I need to warm up for a bit before pulling out of the drive.
