I only paid €300 for my car insurance in November, for Fully Comprehensive, with full no claims bonus. My car is a small family sized one, with not many frills. My house insurance was €450 for a property valued at €200,000. (includes contents).

And here we are all envious because of your low fabric prices, so some you win amd some you lose.

I had insurance with Allstate for years and years.no accidents no tickets. I bought a used car and needed full coverage because I had to take out a loan to get it. My insurance went sky high.Crazy ridiculous high.
A friend told me about Farm Bureau. My daughter now has it and has everything but her motorcycle with them. They don't insure motorcycles. Her insurance for her car is only $80 something dollars every 3 months. For a Saturn Sl or maybe that was for Both Saturns she had. I think it was

I have 4 autos, homeowners-farm/ranch policy, life policies and commercial policy all with same company for 40 years. I get discounts for having multiple line, multicar, vehicle safety and accident-free, also still have $500 deductible, which I understand is hard if not impossible to get with a new policy now days.

Our son got a new job with an insurance co., so of course, I had him get us estimates. We had been with Allstate for over 40 yrs. We signed on with the new insurance company and saved over $800/yr, and increased our coverage as well. Plus we have a blanket policy which protects us, something I was concerned about last couple of years.

We have been with American National for many years, get great discounts on auto and home. The only thing I hate is we also have to have Wind Storm ($3000) and Flood ($1004)and it is a set price. That is what you get when you live near the coast.

We had home insurance with same co for over 25 years and then we moved. The house was vacant and up for sale. They would no longer insure it. Stinks. We finally gave up on them--they treated us like do-do over our MH too.

State Farm here...all together. Best prices we could find. But prices are based on credit report, past insurance claims, and the values of your home/property. Take some time, check around and keep notes to compare.
on edit: I've had a house fire, wind damage, car accident and State Farm has NEVER made even an inkling of a noise to discontinue our coverage. They paid VERY well on the repairs and fixes.

I had Liberty Mutual for car insurance. Then my DH moved to the USA and they were going to hike my rates for him to over $5000 a year just for him because they said that even though he was a fully licenced driver in the UK he would be classed as an "unmarried, never had a licence 17 year old male" when in fact he IS married, and HAS had a licence for over 10 years. We now have Progressive, and for 2 cars in NJ pay $1200.
Home insurance is a different company. 4 BR, 3 BR house with inground pool - $700 a year. Can't beat that.

We have combined 2 autos and house through AAA. Every couple of years, I check out other companies, but we keep coming back to the AAA because of price. Consumer Reports seems to say that insured people are happy with AAA service. I hit a woman a couple of years ago. She was my age and was alone in the car. When I got the police report woman was half my age and said her mother was in the car and both were injured. It was terrible. There was no damage as I was already on the brake. The auto club gave her a new bumper to keep her happy, but she took me to court. I have to say the insurance was wonderful. They went to court with me, but judge was a temp judge and later his judgement was against the AAA and myself. But the AAA came through and went to court for me again and we won. They were so good. I was scared and they were wonderfully supportive to me. I can't say enough good about them. I have been with them over 25 yrs and my insurance premiums never did go up.
