OMG, donna......please, please do not let her out until she gets much larger or you have her on a leash Chicken hawks will take her. They take squirrels from our backyard all the time.....one of our neighbor's poodle was snatched while she was out side with her.....please take care, she is such a cutie.

I really like these dogs. If she is to be a guard dog you might take a close look on how she is to be trained.

Please post as she grows up. I would love to see and hear how she is settling in. They are wonderful dogs. It sounds like she comes from a line that was bred for guarding and not for show.

You will have one of the only dogs out there that are bigger than mine. I just love big dogs. Mine is German Shepard and Great Dane mixed. Looks like a short haired German Shepard with a bad dye job, but I love every inch of him, and he is worth the food bill. Don't forget to have your new friend chipped. Less than a month after I had my first dog chipped, he got away from DH. I was so thankful someone told me about chipping dogs. Enjoy all the love that has just entered your life.
