Is there a member who lives in Beaufort County, South Carolina. I have been thinking about moving to that area. I like to fish as well as quilt. Sometimes, I fish and quilt at the same time. lol. My brother hates it when I do that. Anyway, I have so many questions about the area, but do not want to contact a real estate agent yet. My questions would be about tax rate, real and personal. Do senior citizens get a break. Living inside a city limit vs. living in rural area. Most importantly, nearest fabric store and fishing hole. Weather, when hurricanes hit. etc. You can PM me is you wish. I think I am a vagabond. Like to move to different places and that area has caught my attention. Thanks

if you hadn't found it yet, here is their website. when i'm considering a move, i go to realtor.com and look up houses that i can afford, then go to the property tax site and check out the tax rate.

be sure to check out ALL of the tax rates...some states do not tax food, some don't tax Srs over 65, etc...so do your homework!

Go to the header-click on Users List type in the location and you will find members that way. Then you can PM them.

    Hope you have luck!
