We all need to go out partying! Lol. Ive had 45 min sleep. Can't quilt either as will keep hubby up. I'm afraid to quilt I might make a mistake from fatigue!! Get to it later! Good thing I don't have to work!!

Night before last I didn't sleep at all. Had gone to my friends house in the afternoon. She just lost her son and I went to pay my condolences. But was so upset that I just tossed and turned when I went to bed. Figured I'd just get up. So, was a long night and then didn't even get to nap til about 2 that afternoon.
Now here I am again, it's 3:37 Alaska time, and I can't sleep again.
ugh!!

Friday night it was 3 a.m. before I fell asleep and was up at 6 to be at the soccer field by 7 on Saturday.
I FINALLy fell asleep around 5 a.m. and set the alarm to get up at 9 so I can maybe fall exhausted into bed at a decent hour tonight!

It's odd but every morning about 2 am I am bolt upright wide awake. Sometimes I can get back to sleep...last night I sewed some seams on a summer quilt top, read some, took something to knock me out and about 4:30 I guess I got back to sleep. It may have a little something to do with our new 3 yr old fur baby who is really active about then, not sure if he wakes me up or I wake him up or we wake each other up
But it is sure making me tired!

Are we all "Sleepless in Seattle"? HA! I get up @4 AM and find quiet things to do, although it would be a good time to vacuum. It is too bad that I don't get this newsletter as before at 5 AM sharp. I do go to sleep early, however. I have a few safe friends whom I can call at 6 AM.

1:30 had to use the bathroom
1:45 had to again
4:28 was shocked to see feathery snowflakes coming down
6:15 had coffee and smoked salmon and cream cheese
7:00 went back to sleep

Actually, that is a good time to quilt as there are NO interruptions by phone or family. That is unless you need chaos to concentrate.lol. I find that if I wake up and stay awake that I have not drunk enough water during the day. So I remedy that by drinking 2 glasses straight down, and then go back to sleep! So glad I got that figured out. If that hint helps any of you, that will be a bonus.
