maybe ur listening for Christmas? I am off this week, and like u was up at 4;30( my narmal wake up time). The house is quiet except for my cat, purring in my lap. I checked the garage. My daughter, home from college, seems to have not made it home last nite. She went to a party with all of her old school friends. She knows not to drink and drive, but I still worry...This is the time of day I enjoy most. A good cup of coffee, all is quiet, a time to reflect on life's decisions, both good and bad. Another Christmas coming, time passing.
Put the first border around a quilt I am working on. Just noticed I made the quilt to small by about 8 inches.sigh.. It's not to late to add several rows of blocks but I think I'll pass and just finish it up to go to the quilters. After all its Christmas and I just made the quilt for fun.Maybe this is a good time to realize that everything does not have to be perfect to still be good? Maybe its time to just relax and just enjoy the holiday and the New Year.

That happened to me last year, I got up early an heard a rapid tapping (I don't have hot water heat) and could not figure out what it was. Thouoght someone was knocking on my door. It was dark outside at this point. Sooo when daylight finally broke I saw out the window a bluejay of all things tapping on our drain pipe. He came back every morning for several days. Don't know what he thought he was getting LOL
