This has been a wonderful week so far. The rain finally stopped, the sun is shining and yet because of a cool Canadian front the temperatures have dropped drastically so it's tolerable now.
Tuesday dd and I went shopping---at Goodwill. Besides the two pair of shoes, 1 dress and 5 skirt/blouse outfits that she got, I got a wooden tv tray--the slightly rounded yet almost square ones---to make a portable ironing board for quilt class out of, and several yards of fabric. 72 cents a yard. I got enough pink felt to put 5 protective layers on my "ironing board" table. Then I made a muslin fitted sheet topper for it and secured it with sheet stays. (I guess that's what you call them, it's two of the old fashioned garter hooks with an elastic strip between them)
Today I'm going to sew. I might pre-wash some fabric too. Yes, all in all, a very good week.

Not the best week so far for me, but I'm sure glad your having a good one! The weather did cool down here too, so thats a plus! Hope the rest of your week is even better!

Glad youre having a great week! Good find at Goodwill! I am having a pretty good one too, works been fairly busy, so making okay tips, plus got a side job lined up for my long weekend!

Well, you've been sick so that's to be expected but at least you found out that the leg numbness/severe pain was a nerve and not bloodclots, or something worse. That's sort of good. Has the medicine been effective for you? Are you feeling better? I've been praying for your health to improve.

It cooled off here in Iowa also. We are packing the trailer and van for another load to Nebraska. Tried to cut down a dead tree and the chainsaw broke!! Got it fixed so as soon as hubby gets his nap we will go back out and finish cutting that tree up. At least the weather is cooperating, dry and cool. We'll get a new sump pump put in next week and hopefully the next 2 inch downpour will not end up in my basement!! I keep up with you all in my spare minutes. Can't wait for this move to be over and I can sew again.
