How exciting! Aren't grandkids fun! I always say they are a double-edged sword, some days thinking of them, (something they said or did), is the only thing that gives us a smile and yet sometimes our heart can really ache for them.

Complaining does no good, won't change things a bit, right! So, I try to take it with a grain of salt. One day at a time, I choose to be happy, & try hard not to sweat the small stuff, & it's all small stuff. Doesn't always work, but I try! This board is such a happy place, let's all try to keep it that way!.... Enjoy your weekend everyone, fall & cooler temps are coming!...

I remember my Dad always said the same thing, "Don't sweat the small stuff". Good advice when you can remember to use it.

I found the most gorgeous piece of quilt shop quality batik fabric at the Goodwill store today. It was 2 yards, colors of the sunset, and price was 2.99.

I've also been helping a quilting pal just through emails to get a project done. We're having fun together, and we've never actually met in person.

No complaints. Enjoy your day, everyone!
