I remember when I inherited 300 bowls from a great aunt. Four were cereal bowls with cartoon characters on them and my SIL admired them, so I gave them to her. My brother read me the riot act of passing on my junk to her and said they had to take them to the local junk dump. Different values on how we viewed things. I want to enjoy what few treasures I have inherited until the day I die, then its someone's else's treasure given or bought or junked. Yes, I use it or give it away or throw it away. It means sometime to me, but not necessarily to others. Brother 'divorced' us and moved South, failing to notify us when SIL died. Not the way we were raised; and it hurt. All apart of life, the joys we celebrate and the tears we cry.
