Drove 2 hours to grandson's 2nd birthday party, then 2 hours back home, while stopping at a restaurant on the way home to have a filet mignon dinner with my DH. Very nice day indeed!!

My husband loves to grow and eat them. They're mighty potent. I had to wear gloves and a respirator while making the jelly ;-)

Spent the day straightning and making order and putting things away to get ready for the next mess lol.....I made broccoli and potatoe soup and fried jacks and we ate and now I'm going to go sit in my room and knit. I ordered a new 32 inch vizio tv for my private room, the one with the internet apps and wi-fi. I have a smaller on in my studio so I can download movies from Netflix. I love to watch movies while I sew or knit or needle work. I couldn't find the tv I wanted for a fair price locally, so I order from Amazon, ....no shipping and no tax...good deal...

It looks like Habanero. Hubby grows them too but just for me. I have a bag full in the freezer. I am waiting for my oranges to be ready. I make my pepper jam in orange marmalade with lots of orange skins....it is to dies for and not so bleeding hot....it just tastes delicious...eveyone wants one,,,,but I am not sharing....tooo much hard work. Mine is not too bad with the fumes, cooking in the oranges.

I also make the meatpies with the habanerso cooked into the meat,,,,so delicious...it's not that the habanero is hot, it the taste. It has a wonderful taste and also the hot.....but you can just use a tiny piece to flavor anything....and it wouldn't be so bad....

Somewhat, but it is still very hot. We like to eat it with goat cheese, or cream cheese and crackers. That makes it a little less deadly ;-)

I got this recipe at allrecipes.com. There are several to choose from.
