That tunnel has an outlet in South Texas, too- the wind has been unbelievable!

same in West Tex. Just a little breeze today, but Mon and Tues were just horrible up to 50 mph gusts and most of the day 40-45 mph winds here, yesterday was not as bad only about 25-30 mile an hr winds. All of this wind is what is keeping our wildfires going. The fire at Ft. Davis was a 75% containment, but with Mon & Tues winds dropped down to 66% containment. Mon. night there were 40,000 acres burned near Balmorhea.We could sure use some moisture, we have single digit humidity.

That wind tunnel must be very long. We have been getting it in Vermont as well. Picking up branches and dusting the house. Will it ever stop?

I feel your pain !! Our snow is finally gone; hopefully not to return until November. Now we have rain - UGH. Almost as bad, but you don't have to shovel it !
