    Is your advent calendar hanging on the wall? What a fun tradition. Do you have grandchildren that are enjoying it too?

    Normally it's hanging on the wall, but for taking pictures I laid it down.... And no, our grandchildren are really far away: two live in California, the other in Berlin....
    I hang up this calendar every year to remind me how quick time is running: this calendar shows it day by day!!! And I like all the decorations we used when our children were young!!

    Day #5: and our star is growing.... For today there is a really bad weather forecast for our region: a real big storm is coming, schools are closed for today, "Christmas markets" will not open...

    I'm so sorry but it isn't!!! I for myself hope they will bring it out again so I can buy some for my grandchildren... This one is nearly 40 years old!!!
