Relax and pretend it's just a bunch of your friends and you'll do fine.

When I've had to speak in front of a large group I try to pick out one or two people (mentally) that I picture just speak to them one on one.
Good luck. Know you'll do fine. Wish I was closer -I'd come see ya!

I get nervous if we have more than 4 in SS where I am the crafts teacher for 2 & 3 yos.
I will be speaking on and showing my FeedSacks quilts.
I told DH next I would be writing books and soon be a TV personalitly.    Well I can dream can't I?

sounds to me that does not have to just be a dream..go for it...

I am sure you will do a great job. After the first couple of sentences you will calm down and go right into teaching.......

Actually I'm back in our home in Snellville (for a few days anyway). Maybe that's closer to you? I'll have to check on Mapquest. When is your talk?

My presentation is Sept 2nd in the early afternoon. Just being nosiy but why are you back and forth? We used to have an ice cream store in Helen and we came back and forth to Fayetteville weekly. We sold the store the season before the tornato tore through Helen.

I'm back & forth because we have 2 houses. The plan was to retire in the mountains but then the economy tanked & I had already retired but my husband hadn't & now he can't. So we go back & forth for a while longer
    :)
