Default Janome Memory Craft 500e, does anyone have it

I recently purchased a Janome Memory Craft 500e and it has been giving me a bit of trouble. When I embroider things it keeps stitching stitches and distorting the pattern. I was just wondering if it sounds like machine or human error.

It depends on what fabric you are using, the stabilizer, and the stitch count of the design. I have the Husqvarna Topaz 20 and i have to use embroidery thread in the bobbin. I have tried various "bobbin" threads and they just do not work no matter what I sew.

Can you post a picture of your problem?

A few months ago I was trying to embroider on t-shirt fabric (using onesies) and had a distortion problem. Went to my dealer and he recommended using a stabilizer with either an iron-on or self-adhesive on it. It did the trick.

Need a little more information. What design are you trying to stitch, a built in one or a purchased one? What fabric and stabilizer are you using? What thread and bobbin thread? Which bobbin case do you have in the machine? Are you using a thread stand? I do have the 500e and love it.

In the tool bar at the top of the reply box, click the 3rd icon from the right. It tells you what to do.

Thank you for being patient with me, i finally figured out how to post the pictures. as you can see the whole design is not stitching out. I and using the a heavy tear away stubblier for the letter one and the summer on I used the stick it one from Floriani. I am using a Janome bobbin. And I am using florin thread. Both patterns were downloads form website but the same thing happened when i used a design from the machine. Any suggestions?????

It appears to me the machine is not reading the download properly and needs to be taken to the shop.

Just to check, are you sure you are using the right extension for the design? My friend has a Brother PE 770 and it can take a couple of them.

Machines won't read the wrong format, so that's not it. Since you said it does the same thing with both built in and purchased designs, I'm going with improper hooping and/or stabilizer.
