I cannot even imagine what these people have gone thru and what they are about to undertake. And we complain about the cost of our food and gas right now. Kinda puts things in perspective a little hey? My prayers go out to the people of Japan

As bad as it is, the land is still there (for the most part). I think "the big one" will put the land under water.

They say Japan prepared aggressively for earthquakes and other natural disasters. I wonder, did it help? Was anything saved because of their preparations? Or was the earthquake and resulting tsunami just too big?

One newspaper said rebuilding Japan can result in them having a very strong economy. I hope so. It's one thing to hope for. But it doesn't make up for the cost of all those lives, and all the survivors have lost.

I wonder that when I see all of our news people still broadcasting from there. Why are they all still there?

Let's count our blessings and pray for each one affected by it.
So sad............
