    does anyone belong to any of these clubs and or the quilt show as I have really thought about them but are they really worth it and do I want to spend that much time on the computer

    i don't think they're worth the money. i'm on the free mailing list and the videos of shows and tutorials are are very eduational. they keep an archive that's sometimes helpful, although a lot of what they offer free is common knowledge.

    a lot of peeps think the QNN.TV site is good and the few times i tried i it was okay. that has a yearly fee. kaye woods has a free site with good hints. for long-armers, sharon shambers has a free site.

    there are so many free sites that personally, i wouldn't spend the money for an onsite class or school. you can google such things as "free HST tutorials" and come up with good info or go to youtube.
