The man, Doc Pomus, who wrote "Save the Last Dance For Me, had polio as a child, and was on crutches, couldn't dance., . His girlfriend, who was a Broadway actress and singer, loved to dance, so every Saturday night he would take her out to a bar, and let her dance with all the men, but at the end of the evening, she would always go home with him. Nothing to do with the picture, , but it just happens to be one of my favorite songs, and love the story of the writing of it! :D :D The Drifters recording is my favorite.

Hope I didn't "hijack" your joke BW :D

Ninnie, you couldn't hijack that picture, but your story was great to read. Thanks for posting it!
