Got a call for the doctor, my A1C is down from 11.6 to 9.5 YEAH. However she said my LDL is not coming down . I hate taking all this medicine but I guess I need to get back on the cholesterol meds. YUK

Good news is that I have lost 1.6 lbs since yesterday. YEA let me keep going at that pace and I will be down to my goal.

I have drank my water today, just a little exercise. eating wise choices.

I had lunch at Wendy's today. I watch 2 ladies and 3 kids. I didnt finish what I had bought. One women had the biggest hamberger , large fries, a frost and then stated to eat another hamberger. The 2 ladies were very over weight and and two of the kids were there as well. Mom hollered at the oldest. She could not get up until she had eaten everything she got. I had to leave........... I just wanted to cry for the kids. They were doing as they were taught . I have weigh in Sat. morning.... I hope I have lost. I forgot to eat lunch several days this week. Beth in Co

Oh how sad that is for the kids! They are truly being setup to end up in the same or worse conditio as the mothers. I would have left too.

I hope your weigh in goes well.

Most fast food places are trying to put healthy items on their menus but they make there money on fat. Instead of cute toys and supersizing fat they should put mirror by every table so people can see how they look as they are stuffing it down and then maybe they would see what they are doing to their kids. Maybe the toys and game pieces should only be given with healthy choices. I love fast food as much as the next person but have seen how I look shoveling it down.

Put a mirror up in your dinning room and you will soon notice you eat less because you eat slower. You will also notice better table manners start appearing. No one likes to look like a pig even at home.
