Mary I spelled it wrong so that is why you my not relate it to the spirutien that xylie has been talking about. Just check back on her postings where we talk about it. It can jump start a weight loss and/or increase you metabolism. It has a tom of good things for your body so you are sure to get all the vit. and such you need daily when your on a restricted diet.

Does anyone know of interactions between coumadin and spirutien. I'm very interested in this mix, I like protein shakes but some of them have too much vitamin K. Please advise if you have any information. :-)

I just spoke with my sister who is an RN. She said to be careful with the spirutien because it can increase the potency of the coumadin. Please be careful!

Well guys, I really blew it at church this morning. I ate almost all morning and do I feel sick. I kept a list so I'm going to chart my food now to see how bad the damage is.

MJ, the vitamin in green leafy vegetables that interfers with coumadin is vit K. Be careful of supplements.

Good afternoon. Jeanne, I joined you in eating at coffee hour. A peanut butter no bake - now my stomach hurts. Eating anyone else's cooking is a risky thing for me with celiac disease. I should have stayed with the cheese and grapes. I won't be joining y'all trying the Spirulein. I'm allergic to soy, too. I can take spirulina - the algae that Spirulean is based on. Is 11 grams of carbs and 8 grams of sugar a lot for anyone with blood sugar problems? Don't know - that's one I don't have.

Well, I've totally trashed my house changing rooms around. I need to get it back together. I don't function well in a mess and tend to overeat when I'm stressed. So I'm off to change my clothes and decide where to start. See you later.

    Missy,
Thanks for the information. I ordered the 7 pack shake mix to try, I will make sure that I decrease my coumadin while I drink them. I will also get a blood level done after a week to check.

8 grams of sugar is the same amount as 1 glass of milk. Not bad at all.

I dropped 7 of the pounds I went to the hospital with. Now I am 263 again, and glad to be there.
