I colored some embroidery on a sheet & pillowcase set some years ago and it's still there. Also let grandkids color some of their drawings I transferred to quilt blocks and the colors are still good and it's been at least 15 years and quilt still looks good.

I once sold an embroidery baby quilt a while later the lady brought it back to show me that she had colored in the animals that had been embroidered on it. She said she put layers of paper towels under it and pressed with hot iron the melt the crayon into the fabric and absorb the wax.

Very pretty! I'd be curious to know how the crayola color holds up over many washings.

Really pretty fabric and your coloring makes it even better. I have done coloring on fabric but not like this. I love it.

From my experience, Crayola brand crayons are the best because the colors are densest.

Love it, so pretty. When I was very young my DM made a quilt top with each State bird she colored all the blocks then used a very hot iron to set it. It was a beautiful quilt. She gave it to one of her sisters as a gift, wish she had kept it I would love to have it.

Love the slight color. It really makes it pop.
