LOL, my parents gave it to me. I was named after the song, "Hey, CarrieAnne", which I cant stand!
Charlee, I always wondered if your name was pronounced like Charlie or Sharlee..........

My name is Maria De Los Angeles, which my grandmother thought was too long, so she shortened it to Maride. She was the only person ever to call me that and now that she is gone, I use it on everything.

I LOVE anything Annette Funicello, and Pineapple Princess was one of her top songs.

I'm the mom of 6 (now grown up, thank goodness). Just seemed appropriate.

Years ago I spent some time on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. There I met an old Medicine Man, his name was Chasing Hawk. He showed me the path I must walk on the Red Road. A road where I am true to myself. A place where I find the strength to let my spirit guide me day to day.

Chasing Hawk went on his journey home years ago.
