I have a hard time reading the computer screen sometimes and I just learned how to make the writing on the screen bigger!!!

ctrl+ and it magically zooms in!!! ctrl- and it goes back to normal.

I'm sure many already knew this but I didn't and it sure has reduced the eye strain for me!!

Yeah I haven't quite mastered this on my new laptop touch pad...except to accidentally go so far out that the print is too tiny. Then I don't know how to get it to go back to normal without getting out my wireless mouse & using ctrl+scroll on it. Now at least I know I can use the ctrl - or ctrl +.

You can also enlarge the content by using the magnificer on the right side of the status bar. By default it is set at 100% and using the arrow beside the size you can take it from 50 to 400% or anywhere in beteen using the custom setting. I use that a lot when I want an englarged image of quilts.
