Just wondering.......

Before he retired not much, he traveled and worked long hours, I raised the kids and ran a home based day care which took many more hours in the day than you would think. Now that we're retired we spend most days together during the day, in the evening he goes down to his mancave to watch sports and I watch a movie, or read, or sew, depending on my mood, upstairs.

Not much as we work different shifts. A couple of hrs. a day during the week and Sat. and Sun. if we aren't working O.T. When the O.T. hits it is even less. Some times it is as if we are 2 people just sharing a house.

We are both retired so we see each other a lot. During the day we are sometimes doing different things around the house. We cross paths and talk to each other all through the day. We eat supper together and usually watch a little t.v. together. Our house is small so we are usually within ear shot of each other. He gets up early and I am a night owl. That gives each of us alone time each day....Works well for us! :-D

We have breakfast together every day, then I go off to work (he's retired). We eat supper together every night (once a month I have girls' dinner out). We spend most of the weekends together, but he's in his office a lot and I'm on here! We love road trips because we get to be together a whole lot. After May 27 we will get to spend more time together!!!!!!

When we went from a really small 1100 sq ft house to our current 2 story 2400 sq. I was worried, too much space. Id never see my family! Silly I know, nothing has changed, but the military shipping him to another state kinda puts a cramp in things. Here I was worried, he would be stuck in another room!
