kitchen aid help needed

I never put my blades in the dishwasher - - - two things I did find though, one is that the "whisk" (sort of chrome) is a lot stronger than it looks and I use it for almost everything (set at 2 or more, whatever you need), even mix bread up until I get to where I need to switch to the bread blade. Secondly, has anyone gotten the smaller (like a half bowl) - it has its own blade and sort of a combo between the "whisk" and the "paddle." I love that one and use it most of the time. Got it through JC Penney as an accessory. It works fabulous and is sort of chrome.

If you are talking about the wire whip, mine does that too. It's where the wires connect into the hub to attach to the machine. Mine is an after market purchase, as my original that came with the Kitchenaid mixer, just plain wore out. I hope she can remedie this by contacting Kitchenaid directly.
