I've seen those. They are very nice when you need a little something around your shoulders. I knit also and I am enjoying our sister site at www.knittingparadise.com.

very nice! There are lots of patterns at Lionbrands.com too. You have to register but they are free.
I've never heard of that syndrome before. It must make life very complicated for you all. She looks like a happy, balanced child.

Thanks, she really is quite balanced. She was born with Raynaud's Syndrome (a hereditary syndrome from me) and she was born with asthma. Her asthma only bothers her in the summer heat and her Raynaud's only bothers her in the winter but since she was born with these obstacles, she's quite accustomed to them. Raynaud's is a circulatory condition. When our hands and feet are exposed to colder temps, the blood vessels clamp down, restricting the blood flow to the extremities. In most cases it just turns the hands and feet white and leaves them cold for longer periods of time. But, in our case, we get tissue infections (from a lower dose of white blood cells) and open sores. Last winter she couldn't even write with a pencil because her fingers swelled up to look like sausages. she has her moments when she gets a little down because her friends are "normal" but she moves past it all right. We just try to keep everything else in her life "normal" and ordinary.
