No it isn’t stupid at all to be worried about this. I just said a prayer for you and your husband.

women are very intuitive (sp) and feel things much more than men. just keep strong prayers out there for him to help keep him safe. I'm sure he will do a good job and be home soon.

[quote=redkimba]You are not being silly; it's right and good that you worry about your husband.
----------------------------
Just make sure that he's passed all the OSHA medical testing that is vitally necessary for his demanding job. He would not be allowed to work there if he was not able to, but your fears for him are normal. I'd be worried too, but I would also add my own fears of such high places to that and make myself miserable.
Just let him know you love him and you back him in anything he does in his work.

Remember, these jobs have foremen who will keep a sharp eye on all the workers and will force them to do the right thing.
Besides, your DH would not have gotten the job in the first place if he wasn't considered good in his work.

Wishing him and you the best.

April, it's tomorrow now. How did hubby's day go? Are you more relaxed now that he's back home? Treat yourself to a wonderful day of quilting & hugging Izzy!

Okay he made it home safe and sound. I guess I just get a little nervous sometimes. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!
Hugs
April

It's not on the same level, but I know the feeling... every time I hear my husband using a power tool (saw, etc) my stomach tightens.

I felt like I had an elephant on my chest when my husband was laid off from work 5 weeks after I gave birth to our second child. Finally I prayed really hard and left it in God's hands. A weight was lifted off me immediately and all was well. And it all worked out for the best. So, lesson learned... leave your worries in God's hands and have some fun today!

Thank God at all times, good and bad. It will help you remember how precious you both are to Him, and relieve your tension and fear.
