Congratulations on finding a new job. I have always believed that when things happen, and you think it is the worst, they happen for the best. Good luck with your new position.

I received a tip last week of an opening with another company from my supervisor (what a sweetheart) and got back in touch with the agency.
    ---------------------------
Now you go out and get a BIG box of candy for that supervisor, but take/send it to his/her HOME and not at work.

I've always told my kids to PTA (Protect Your A%%) in jobs, because somewhere down the line in the future you might just come in touch with the same people you worked with before.

Never, ever bad mouth the company you left..ever.

Wow you are very lucky. My husband got laid off Tuesday. But he had a month warning and he has been looking for jobs and having interviews, and nothing yet. Very Scarry.

Thank you all for your words of congratulations. I pray and wish and hope that all will find employment quickly. My profession is a very limited calling and feel very blessed that it did happen so quickly. My brother has been unemployed for over a year like many others and I pray everyday that all will be employed with a rewarding position.
