My daughter had that surgery a few weeks ago. Hers was the monovision also. She was born with cateracts so this was an awesome surgery for her!!! She is 24 now & does not wear glasses. I was so excited for her :-)

You will love it, .....I had it done 9 years ago after my neighbor, w/coke bottle glasses, had it done...so then I did it, then my daughter....at that time they didn't do anything for closeup reading...so I wear reading glasses for some reading and sewing, the $1 ones.....
