I hate to shop for clothes or shoes for myself. I love to
read so books are a favorite purchase. When I am in a sewing/quilting mood, I shop for fabric. Today, I bought one book and two jigsaw puzzles at Walmart all three were on sale. I hate paying full price. My DH always tells me to get what I want. The thing is, I never want very much.

I find I spend more on my family than I do for myself but I have all I need (actually more than I need). I have collected so many things and I had a loving and giving husband so my jewelry box is full..all locked in the safe because I really don't need it to go to the grocery store. Of course, I buy fabric and quilting supplies. I love a new gadgit or ruler and I love to go to lunch with my friends. Life as a retired person is fabulous.
