That cat appears to be lacking in basic cat-ness. None of mine would ever have tolerated either the costume or the ride. In fact I don't think I've ever had one who didn't hide under the bed while the vacuum was out of the closet, even if it was not turned on. The dogs vs. sprinklers video is even more fun to watch because they all look so happy! Most of the dogs I have had over the years were not fond of getting wet. We have a cat currently who likes to play in her water bowl. DH says I should put a dishpan full of water in the tub and see what she might do. One of her favorite tricks is to dabble her paws in the water bowl and then run over and put a wet paw on my face in the night.

Speaking of cats not being catlike, years ago I had a cat who would come when I called him. He was hyper-affectionate and could not get enough loving and petting. He was almost more of a dog, in some ways. Sure do miss that cat.
