Let it Snow!

My DH was a supervisor for a certain delivery service. Snow was always an obstacle. He used to say "it can start snowing midnight Christmas eve. Now that he has retired the snow doesn't bother him at all. I liked the snow when we lived in northern Indiana because the street departments were prepared to handle it. Since moving down state to a university town it can be a little hazardous getting out on the roads. Not only are they less capable of clearing the streets, there are all those students who have never driven on any kind of slick surface. Pretty scary!

Oh my that just gives me the shivers. We have had the wind but very little snow. Reminds me of last Christmas when we were just buried in snow. Neighbor had to scoop us out of our house and banks were 3/4 the way up the doors. Take care and stay warm.

It is snowing here like crazy. They say it will continue throughout the day so I am cozy and plan to stay that way. I will do some little projects today while watching movies and wrapping a few gifts. No sense in trying to buck Mother Nature if you don't have to. This is one time when being retired is a good thing.

I can enjoy it because I don't have to be anywhere today! So I'll be watching movies and working on some more quilting projects :)
