It's beautiful that we have the freedom to say, "I LOVE YOU." I also cannot end a conversation with a love one with "good bye". I tell them, "Good Night" regardless of what time it is. My Mama laughs when I say good night at 8 in the morning.

I know that life is short. But it's so easy to forget.

I remember a few years ago there was a strange traffic accident that killed several people. A 18wheeler was on an overpass. The road curved and the truck went over the side. Traffic was at a standstill below and the only people who survived a truck landing on them were the ones who just happened to be looking up and could jump out of their cars and run.

I gave my dh a big hug and kiss when I got home and he looked surprised and said "what's that for?" So maybe it's something I need to do much more regularly.

Never leave my husband or daughter without telling them that I love them. He and I have been married over 26 years and our daughter is 21 which makes this action rather a habbit at this point. Weither it is ending a phone call or running out to the store I want to make sure the last words they hear from my are a confirmation of my great love for them in the event something happens.

Make somebody smile at least once a day. No matter how you feel that day, giving somebody else the gift of a smile will make it easier for them to give the gift also. At some point if enough of us feel this way we will have a world of smiling people. Not a bad thing at all.
I love this. You inspired me to follow your rules.
