LOL, no. If I owned a featherweight though, I probably would! I have been preparing some work for hand applique to keep me busy. Didn't get near as far as I'd hoped with prepping the pieces but should be enough to occupy my time in a deck chair!

What is the weather like in Honolulu right now? My DS finally talked me into going there with them early March.
80 degrees, sunshine, tradewinds, occasional rain (usually at night). Have had some high surf on the North Shore. You'll enjoy it.
Thanks for the weather report. I love the North Shore. Our last 2 yrs. in the Navy were in Pearl Harbor. That was during Viet Nam so it was no vacation for me since hubby's aircraft carrier was gone the whole time.

You do not know how much I envy you. No one in this world dislikes snow more than I do. The only place snow is pretty is in a picture, not on the ground. The cold I can take, the snow I can't.

I can't wait for next month when I get to fly to Hawaii and take a Navy aircraft cruise to San Diego for a week! Talk about the cruise of a lifetime!

Call me crazy, but I love this kind of winter here in WI...lots of snow and cold. The snow is so beautiful (I don`t even mind shoveling) and the cold keeps the snow clean. Winters like this make folks slow down and appreciate family, friends and home (and have more of a chance to quilt!!!). I come alive with the cold weather. The warm and hot stuff makes me feel dragged out and listless. I guess it`s great that we all are different. :)

Have a blast. Hubby booked us on one but not until next November. He wants to make sure my knee is completely healed by then. Went on one in October. I stayed in the cabin ALL week except to go to dinner. Knee problem started month before cruise so we didn't cancel or would have lost the money. He got off at all port, at my insistence. No point in him being miserable too. We had an aft wrap balcony (room at back corner of boat. Balcony VERY long and wrapped around the back and side of boat). It was huge. I sat on the balcony, did a lot of reading that week. So, for the next one, I want to be completely well!

I hope you have a wonderful time. What cruise line are you going on? Sandy
