one thing that I have noticed in the posts on the board is that people abreviate (sp) alot of words...they are fully aware they are doing it. I really don't dwell on correct grammar when I post. When in a chat room it is the correct form of communication to just cut words short???? As long as you are getting your thoughts across....Am I alone?

Reading noncorrect grammar on forums or chat doesn't bother me. I know I type words different then I think and then see a grammar mistake after posting. English teachers should go check out facebook pages of teens. They probably won't sleep at night. Ha.

What is bad is when you get use to texting on the cell phone & then got to remember to use whole words here. Taking 2 years of French messed up my spelling some. A lot of their words are spelled like ours on with added letters.

What in the name of all that is holy, are parents doing to their children? My SIL always says that stupid people shouldn't procreate. After reading this, I know he is rite.[/quote]

Why do these totally awful people put out kids like a coke machine & decent respectacle people who would make wonderful parents have to struggle so hard to have even one baby. Life isn't always fair. You know these kids must have guardian angels or they would have never made it.

What about people who only look at the picture, then ask questions, never bothering to READ the posts.

I get tired of repeating myself... read the posts before you ask, it may have been answered!

No. No one who is fat wonders why. We all know how we got that way.

Which leads to a couple more pet peeves of mine:
    1. People who think that telling a fat person they're fat is going to be a revelation to them.
    2. People who seem to think fat people don't know how to follow a diet. We all know the basics of eating right. The problem is overcoming appetites that don't quit.

Depression doesn't help either. My dear sister finally had a gastric bypass because of her weight. She is manic/bypolar. It was a long hard struggle.
Another pet peeve: Doctors who are to chicken to say go on a diet. Seems they don't want to dicuss this with patients anymore. Hey I wasn't picking on fat people but when I see them I just wonder why they buy all that junk instead of some decent food. I'm also not skinny either but I try to watch my calories. Didn't mean to make you mad Lisanne.

HAd a few bad looking folks wanting gas money & when you tell them that you will take them to the gas station they backoff. You know they are druggies.
