Thank you for reminding me of a great story.. this story shaped my teaching career! It came to me during a trying time (trying students) and made me realize I had no idea what they were dealing with every day! It made me realize they want to be loved... and I think it's true for all, not just for students.

Thank you for a great reminder!

It does so much for my soul when I can do something for someone I barely know that needs help. I was an Occupational Health Nurse for a Major company. So many workers work for minimum wage and are single parents, men and women. I might be the only one to say anything nice to them all day.
Love knows not color, race, creed, being there is the important thing and a smile and Hi can do so much for these people.

I was there 14 years before they laid me off. Most people at the plant were like family after that long.

This story has such a message. We all need to listen. One at a time, right!!

Even if not true, what a wonderful lesson it teaches.
Just like the "hook on the car door" teaches us not to park and neck in secluded areas!
