    I love the smell of lilacs....miss them. We can't grow them here in So. CA.

    I finally got some lilacs here in bloom. Had to transplant them from my mom's 50+ year old bushes. The store-bought bush never bloomed for 4-5 years.

    I love spring/summer for that reason.... I never get tired of looking at all of the beautiful blooms and the scents they give :D:D:D

    I have some lilacs right in front of me - ds has been picking some of everything blooming in our yard right now. Even the garlic mustard.

    Me too, I have a huge vase on the table full of them. House smells SOOO good!
