A Little Somthin' Jacket
#13
Just got this reply from the designer: First is my question to her.
Karen, Love the Little Somethin' Jacket but had a heck of a time with the collar. I have fabric to make 3 or 4 more but won't unless you can help me with the neck line. I and my boss (she made one also) struggled with the collar part. Is there a simple way to do it?
Her response:
Yikes, so very sorry for the problem. Not really, I can only suggest to do the seam in three separate stitches as shown, leaving the curved part till the end. It does help to clip the curved area a bit to allow a bit of ease.
What type of fabric are you using?
Regards,
Karen

I too made this jacket and had problems with the neck part. I ended up just doing it the best I could and I am still not happy with it. A friend of mine had the same problem so you are not alone. I believe I did put in some light interfacing.

That is my boy Brisco. He is much older now and almost all white. He is still gorgeous but his bulb is pretty dim. He is one of eight pugs that own us. Thank you so much for the compliment.
