Bearisgray, I had a student who wore mismatched socks every day! It was her "signature." Just telling you, so if it happens again you can be right in style. My day brightener is seeing the Eastern bluebirds goinhg into their house to feed the babies.

A freshly mowed lawn always brightens my day .... but not the mowing!
Taking a walk on a cool, bright, sunny day is good too.
Finishing a project makes it a good day too.
But the best is waking in the morning after a good night's sleep.

My grandkids and their antics! the smell of rain in the air.. my dog greeting me when I come home after a stressful day at work! NOT having to cook a meal !LOL using my crock pot to make it ! Seeing a hummingbird in my backyard drinking from their feeder. So many wonderful things out there to keep my life sane and intact if I just look around and take a moment (like Mom used to say: stop, sit down and close your eyes then smell the roses!)
